A Weekend with Charles Darwin, honoring the 200th anniversary of the great evolutionary theorist's birth, is set for Saturday, February 28th--Sunday, March 1st.
A special Darwin Workshop, on Darwin's personal life and scientific accomplishments, to be led by Floyd Sandford, retired professor of biology at Coe College, is planned for Saturday, 1-3:30 p.m. For information, contact Ken Novak at kennovak@gmail.com. At our Sunday morning platform, Sandford presents "Darwin Remembers--Recollections of a Life's Journey," his one-man play and living history reenactment.
On Sunday, March 1st we will present "Darwin Remembers--Recollections of a Life's Journey," This one-act, 75-minute play, written and performed by Sandford, is a reenactment of the famous evolutionary theorist's life and revolutionary achievements.
