Esther Dairiam will discuss her journey from management consulting to Founder and Owner of Read It & Eat in Lincoln Park and the experience (which she describes as the best holiday ever) that inspired her to make this nerve wracking yet exciting transition.




About Esther Dairiam:

Esther Dairiam, a Management Consultant for over 10 years, opened Read It & Eat in 2015. While she is not a culinary professional, nor a professional bookseller; she has a keen love for eating and enjoys culinary books. Since opening, her growing business has been featured in various online and print publications including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader, Saveur, and frequently appears on lists that feature top culinary destinations to visit in Chicago


Our Adult Programs:

A typical Sunday meeting begins at 10:30, ends at noon and consists of a speaker or presentation focusing on current issues, ethical philosophy, lifespan education, or the arts. Platforms are open to the public and admission is free, although we request a donation of $5.
Our Program for Children:
