About Marc Ayers:

Marc is the Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United States, the nation’s largest animal protection organization. Marc is in charge of all aspects of animal welfare, from companion animals and equines to farm animal protection and wildlife. Marc has been the State Director in Illinois over two years. Before coming to HSUS, Marc was the Policy Director for the Environment and Rural Affairs at the Lieutenant Governor’s Office where he led the Office in policy formation and analysis. Marc combines his legislative and policy experience with his passion for animals to advance animal protection in the state of Illinois.

 

Our Adult Programs:
A typical Sunday meeting begins at 10:30, ends at noon and consists of a speaker or presentation focusing on current issues, ethical philosophy, lifespan education, or the arts. Platforms are open to the public and admission is free, although we request a donation of $5.
 
Our Program for Children:
The Golden Rule Sunday School, for children from birth through 8th grade, also meets every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon, September through May. For more info, contact the Sunday School director at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
