![]() Tracy Baim co-founder and publisher of Windy City Times "Windy City Times: Impact on Chicago and Its LGBT Community” Sunday, February 19th, 10:30 a.m. TRACY BAIM, co-founder and publisher of Windy City Times, speaks on Sunday, February 19th, at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago in Skokie. Her topic is “Windy City Times: Impact on Chicago and Its LGBT Community.” Baim will discuss the role of media in the LGBT Chicago community. Windy City Times was founded in 1985, just as Chicago's LGBT community started to show its full force through culture, sports, activism (especially in response to AIDS and civil rights), politics, media and business. She will give an overview on how LGBT media both participated in and covered the community. Our Adult Programs:
A typical Sunday meeting begins at 10:30, ends at noon and consists of a speaker or presentation focusing on current issues, ethical philosophy, lifespan education, or the arts. Platforms are open to the public and free, although we request a donation of $5. Our Program for Children: The Golden Rule Sunday School, for children from birth through 8th grade, also meets every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
