![]() Kirby Callam CEO and co-founder of Chicago Talent Development Charter High School in Chicago "The Promise and Peril of Charter Schools" Sunday, October 7th, 10:30 a.m. Kirby Callam, CEO and co-founder of Chicago Talent Development Charter High School in Chicago, speaks Sunday, October 7th, on “The Promise and Peril of Charter Schools.” A public school teacher and charter school founder and administrator, Callam will discuss why he is both an advocate for and a critic of publicly funded charter schools. Our Adult Programs:
A typical Sunday meeting begins at 10:30, ends at noon and consists of a speaker or presentation focusing on current issues, ethical philosophy, lifespan education, or the arts. Platforms are open to the public and free, although we request a donation of $5. Our Program for Children: The Golden Rule Sunday School, for children from birth through 8th grade, also meets every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
