The Golden Rule Sunday School. . .




. . . runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon nearly every Sunday from September through May. We serve children from birth through 8th grade. We focus on the Humanist ideals of living life ethically and joyfully. We learn about world religions in an informational way so that we can better understand and appreciate others. In our children's educational program, the Golden Rule Sunday School, our young people are encouraged:

  1. to respect themselves and others,
  2. to value education,
  3. to celebrate the arts,
  4. to think critically and independently,
  5. to investigate and discover,
  6. to have compassion,
  7. and to make ethical choices in their daily lives.

They experience this in an atmosphere of love and mutual support,
     with the help of caring adults,
           using stories, discussion, arts, and crafts.
